they will work on a motorcycle but not really do anything worthwhile on a car engine. a guy that i used to work with made one himself for his Buell motorcycle and did pickup 14hp on a cycle dyno and it gave him 2.5lbs of boost and he only spent about $50 making it but for only a couple hundred more you can have a 100 shot of nitrous on your car instead of a restriction which is all it will do on an engine of 3.8L in size

I was wondering the same. I hope we hear some real experiences because in the theory makes sense....but who knows what kind of damage could cause to the engine in case of failure...time will tell.

i still wonder why they dont make an electric supercharger that works..... i mean, boost is boost, no matter how it gets there. however, those little fans wouldnt actually create boost because they would probably move air at the same speed as it would be sucked into the engine anyway. I did know a guy that put a leaf blower on his supra for kicks. It picked up some power, but i cant imagine the motor would last long with all that hot hot air being forced in there.

i would say it MIGHT give you 5hp but only for a year or so...it is an electric motor that will be running every time you have your car on. electric motors only last so long...power window motors are an example of this. if you ever wanted to race your car you would also probably be put in with cars that have real super and turbo chargers so you would get killed. id say spend the money on your suspension, udp's, cai, gears, or an exhaust or something that you know will do something for you. or if you really want a forced induction car, put that money in the bank and save up for a t/c or s/c.

There is something that is pretty much the same thing on ebay, its new and not from a person, from a company. Its only $84.99. and they gauentee it, so if you want to give it a try i would get that one cause it is alot cheaper and saids it will give 15 to 45hp. I placed a bid on one, and if i get it i will put up a post about how it works.
