Default radiator fluid/coolant

Does it really matter what kind? I got PEEK Max Strength and diluted it 50% water. There's still some of the motorcraft stuff, so is it okay to mix them? (this ones green old one is yellow).

Diferent colored coolants are diferent chemical combinations. To keep your warranty you NEED to get the yellow coolant. But after the warranty expires, if you completely flush the system, you can switch.

Chemical reaction can cause foaming which creates air pockets, leading to overheating. Also can cause premature corrosion.

I've also heard that some can cause others to coagulate. <<< There's that, I "heard" word again, Harv. [sm=smiley36.gif]
