Hey, I'm new here. Anyways, I'm 16, and I just got a new 2000 Ford Mustang 3.8. I care a lot more about performance then looks and I don't have that much money. I'm at like 193 horses rite now, and I was wondering what cheap things I could buy to get it up to the 250 range (around a GT.)

N2O.. will get u there quick but other than CAI, Exhaust, U/D pullies, Gears and tlok, tuner(SCT or diablo) ... but let me warn you nothing is cheap. If mods were cheap everyone would have fast cars.

 

Here's a short list.
CAI
Dual exhaust
Under drive pullies
Port intake
65mm throttle body
Flash tuner
Then for better acceloration, 4.10 gears and a T-Lok

Those will get you close, as they did me
But if you want to go F/I, a 75 shot of N2O, super charger or turbo charger

 

Good call harv i forgot about throttle body. but also there are people around hear like jthorn who have very nice stangs and there mods are listed righti n there sig .. i think jthorn has a 98 though im not real sure so that wont help you much but u get the idea.

That's ok. If all goes well, by the end of the year I'll have a CS6 Shelby.
