Default Heres a question.

How bad is it to actually drive the 3.9L Mustang? I don't go everywhere with the pedal to the floor, but with the roads in Kuna like they are, nobody goes the damn speed limit.[8D] And although I don't race on the streets a bunch, I still get on it. How bad is that for the car? I know it cant be good(at least not super-good, haha) but I maintain my vehicle very well. Oil changes every 3,000 miles/3 months; I check the fluids at least once a week, coolant flush/replacement every two months, etc. So how bad is it for my car with how I maintain it?

Coolant fluch every TWO months?? WTF?? That's a total waste. Yearly at the minimun, every 2 years max.

EDIT
Oh and you ain't doin no harm to the engine. Drive it like you meant it!

WELL, for some reason, my car burns coolant like a Chevy burns oil. I honestly don't know what does it, but after about every two or three months the car starts to smell and the coolant levels go down. So flush and refill. I've tried seeing what the problem was, and it has been in a very reputable shop once, but IDK. I'm gonna check the thermostat soon.

And thanks for the other answer. i had kinda figured as much, but you never know.

You still have warranty, right? Take it to Ford and MAKE them fix it. that's not right in any way shape or form.

Where did u say you lived? because certain regions have different reactions to cars/engines, cars on the East coast are more likely to rust faster than on the west.

The only way the weather/climate could negativley effect my motor would be the temperstures reached in summer, but it isn't bad yet. ANd yes I am still undre warranty, but I'll waituntil after Sunday. I might go to the track, maybe I can blow the motor and get myself an N/A 4v[8D](I'm kidding)

yes and no, different additives in the gas and differnet elevations will cause the car to act different
