i went to my local muffler shop and he said for a custom made x-pipe and install magnaflow dual cat-back exhaust it would be $500. is that a good price or am i getting ripped off?

 

well...actually you are getting a pretty good price. If you went and got the whole exhaust system from magnaflow you are looking at $700 without install. At a local shop they normally charge between $150-$200. So if you get the package fron them and the install for $500 I say you got yourself a deal...
