Default Looks...

I wanna do a couple of cheap (not free, but not bodykits and such) things to my car. I already have rims...but there are a couple of things i like:

1. Wheel spacers-I have 9 inch wheels to go with my 18 inch deep dish rims...does anyone know, are they safe? I kinda want the wider look on the back but 10 inch wheels were too big for my rims? Suggestions? Pictures?

2. Lowering- I wanna lower my car, but i wanna lower it more then 1.5 inches. I wanna get a 2.5 inch drop. I did a post about this earlier but i never really got a full explanation of what i need. From what i heard i need Cambers and something else, i just want a round about price. I personally dont care how the car rides, i just want the look, its not a performance car at all!

3. Limo tint the windows- I know this depends on where you live, but isnt it illegal? I want as dark of tint as i can get. Does anyone know how much (about) that would cost for a mustang.

4. Chin spoiler- From what ive heard, its pretty straight forward, how easy are they to attatch? How hard is it to get ahold of one?

5. Leather seats- I have seen kits online for leather seats...are they any good? Would it be cheaper to buy that, or try and find some out of a wrecked car or off of ebay?

If there are any other suggestions for looks please do let me know what is good! I am open to all suggestions, i was also thinkin aluminum gas tank cover but i dont know if that would look a little to ricer-ish. Please bare with me and read this damn long post! Thanks everyone!

1. This one confused me, how can your wheels be too big for your rims? Rims and wheels are the same thing, just two different names. But anyway, 10 inch wide rims will fit on your car if you want to use em.

3. You can put limo tint on your rear quarter windows, but thats it. The other windows you have to check your state's laws.

4. All you have to do is drill the holes and bolt it up. The harder part is finding one, but there are some places that still have em. Most of em run like $115 or so, depending on where you get it from.

5. I would think that getting em from a wrecked car would be cheaper, but I could be wrong. Try checkin out the classified section of the forums for people that are parting out their cars.

I would have answered number 2, but I dont know a whole lot about that much of a drop. Hope I helped some though

the spacers will be fine. it will probably look good. i think all you need are the cc plates and springs to lower it but im not positive. the legal tint here in wichita ks is 35% thats not really too bad. you could probably get away with darker but if you want to play it safe call a tinting place and ask. the chin spoilers are really easy to instal...from what i have seen and heard. but kinda hard to get ahold of. they usualy run around 90 bucks...a long time ago i saw some for like 65....over time they keep goin up and they are harder to find. and i dont know about the seats. i dont know if i helped you at all but i kinda tried

Im not even sure what the legal tint here is in Ky, but I have 15% .. and it cost me $120, Only because my dad knew the guy who owned the shop really well.

If your worried about getting in trouble by dark tint, Call a shop who does it - They will know.
