Anyone know what kind of oil to use in the 3.8l? wat it says in the manual/cal. also whats a good brand of synthetic?

i use 10w30 mobil 1 synthetic...but you should try that royal purple stuff n see if they really live up to what they say =P

my manual (99) says 5w30, and i think for the newer 03-04 its 5w20

i cant find royal purple anywhere. i want to though, they say its so good it frees up some horsies, like 4 or 5, but thats still good for an oil change.

oh and btw yeah i go with 5w-20 mobil 1 synthetic, the one that says 15,000 miles. but i dont wait that long for an oil change anyways lol
