Default Question for all you sixers

Gas mileage? is it reasonable? I have me a new g/f and she wants a mustang and im thinking about buying her a v6 (gas mileage is more important than going fast.) anyways if you could just throw some estimated numbers and the year of your mustang that would be appreciated

Most sixes and eights have pretty similar gas mileage. The sixes are usually better than the GTs by a few miles a gallon, but the real money saver is the insurance.

Depending on the driver a V6 can be worse than a V8, better than a V8, or about the same. Doing most hwy, I can get almost 28 mpg, but right now during the summer, doing mostly city, its closer to 20-22 mpg.
