Default need some help

ok 3 questions. i went to the exhaust shop where im gonna have them install my magnaflow dual cat back at pretty soon and they quoted me for $810-thats the cat back system and installation...my question for this is, is this reasonable?

2nd question, he told me that the catback would split off the original Y pipe therefore i didnt need an X pipe. i thought you needed an X pipe for duals.... will some one please clarify?

3rd question do i need the GT rear bumber for the exhaust to fit?

thanks for any help.

for the bumper, no you can just do turn downs or run it under the bottom, and dont do it, this is not a "true dual" exhaust, this is just reversing the crappy Y pipe and wont do much other then the look

When they bend you over, are they at least gonna use some lube???
I had a local shop cut my Y-pipe out, MAKE me a custom X-Pipe, bend the tubing, install the mufflers I bought from THEM( Flowmaster 40 series) and add tailpipes that angled down just before the bumper for $600.00. My advice.,....RUN!!!!!!!!!!!!

do exactly that, except use force flow mufflers from summit racing, they are $30, are exactly the same, and have a life time warrenty
