Default SVO Engine

I was looking at a 1985.5 Mustang SVO the other day with 84,000 miles.
Just wondering were those engines any good.
Any idea how long they last with proper maintance.
Are there any known problem issues with the SVO?

you should check out www.svoca.com and www.turboford.net or engine specifics.

if you are looking to buy an 85.5 svo car you should jump on it because they are rare and the fastest of the svo's (205 hp)

if it was well maintained the 2.3 turbo engines can last forever

Mine has 120K on it, and i beat the living shat out of it. Modded, puts a hurting on many cars on the street, and is still rather reliable.
