Hey, I have an auto and I want to put in a standard, I can't stand not driving stick. How difficult is it to swap tranny's and what am I looking at cost wise. I have a 95 SN95.

not VERY hard to do, going to cost you some $$$ though, you will need the shift boot, a shift console out of a stick mustang and of course the tranny, other stuff too!

www.trannyswap.com has some interesting points about tranny swapping... you might not like what you find though.

unless your auto is totally broke, dont get the manual! go new stall, shift kit, and you will be happy with it, i did that to my TA!

EDIT: and if you have the money to do a swap, instead get some gears and t-lok in that rear end, Ford Racing has good gears, go 4.10 or 3.73, and what i said above. i promise you, you will not regret it!
