Default Mustangs under 15 seconds

Hey guys my friend has a 1998 Caddy V8 Northstar which puts out 300 hp and let me say the thing is a beast....ahhah i know maybe not to alot of you guys out there but im used to my stock 17 and something second 1997 V6.

Anyways I was wondering what year stangs he could beat in a race....I know the 05 V8 stangs had 300 hp correct? But could you guys tell me what year the mustangs started to pass 15 seconds 1/4 mile times? Both V6 and 8.

My friends bracket races his mammies '98 Northstar. FWD, right? Anywho, the best it has run was a 16.27xx. So, chances are Edge six shooters would win. The SN95s are turds.

+1. If you got a singleport..pre 99..you're toast. Even the stock Edge 6ers will have a VERY hard time racing them. Moderatly modded Edge 6ers will take them.

Mid 15's to low 16's depending on the driver and auto vs manual tranny

And you guys griped about me when I made a few cheap shots at you all with that GT that may or may not happen now, singleport bashers. Sorry, had to say it, although unfortunately it is the truth.[&o]

Man not to be a post *****, but Harv, have you ever had one of those days where everthing seems so right, then all comes crashing down around you. Man, I'm both depressed and pissed at the world with the GT issue.[&o][:@]
