Sucks man. I killed Civic SI's all day with just cat back exhaust a while back. No dobt an SI is quicker than a POS celica. Invest in a short shifter, its the most well spent bolt on including the pulleys. IMO

The only good a purge kit does is makes you look like rice. I say get a set of gears first, that will improve your accelleration far better than those other basic bolt ons. Then from there start with the basics, but to get a noticible difference, you're gonna have to do a gear swap.
