Someone here took the time to drill out each honeycomb, and the hood too. But why would you want all that water going into the engine bay, and all over the engine, when it rains?? It's not going to improve your performance in any way since air enters the engine through the air box or CAI...

Its a waste pretty much, my engine bay stays clean, but i had my uncle dyno it, we cut it out and hooked up a ram air dam to the intake, and it did nothing, now when your doing 200mph then thats a good thing to have. i think it looks alot better then that stupid stock one tho. no need and if u want to keep the honeycomb you cant cut the whole thing out because it stays in with little tabs.

of course your not gonna see any gains on a dyno, there's no moving air for it to pick up. unless you have one of those big fans in front of your car.

yeah we go for the fans, use leaf blowers too, but the point is, it will not do anything for your car, some people just cut them out, but we made an actual intake for it, and still nothing.

well started with the 67 (bout 400hp), down to a 91(210ish?), down to the 02 v6(158). i find it funny how i can afford to buy the cars and buy parts. Yet cant afford any gas....
