Default v6 exhaust

i got a 94 6er, i got half size boom tube today. i was cut off the original down pipe, and started up the car just to see the sound i reved the engine, then shut it off, walked to the back off the car and noticed water was spitting all over from the exhaust. just curious y is this happening. also am i better off to get a full boom tube or the ones that are half size. and i wanted to change the muffler, i got a dyno max are those any good. im just 16 i dont have much money for big upgrades so if anyone has better ideas on how i can make my exhaust sound better im open to ideas.

Water is the by product of having catalytic converters. It's perfectly normal. By the time it hits the tailpipe, most of it has evaporated by the heat. But some is still left over. So it's normal.

Personally, if I could get away with it, I would go long tubes. Shorties just don't do much if anything. But I live in Smogifornia, and they aren't legal here.
