What is it with ppl speaking up on something they have absolutly no clue with. Like, "Motorcraft plugs are the only plugs you should use", or, "Fram filters are junk", Or Bosch plugs are good", etc...etc..etc..
IF YOU DON'T KNOW SOMETHING, STOP GUESSING!! All you are going to do is to help someone hurt thier ride.
I for one, try not to "guess" an answer. Like if there is a thread about superchargers ot turbochargers, I usually leave it alone. Same with wheel's and tires. The reason being, I have no idea about offset and the such.
In other words...IF YOU DON'T KNOW, DON'T GIVE BAD INFO! PERIOD!

I just made that comment about the Motorcraft plugs because it worked on my car. I used Boush? plugs before and had the same types of problems he was talking about. When I switched back to the factory plugs (which are Motorcraft) the car ran great. Is that bad advice? i dunno

Well, one thing about spark plugs, is that if they're platium, don't use them on sixers, don't know why exactly, but everywhere I went to said don't, use any platinum plugs on a sixer, it won't run right, use standard copper plugs, although Harv used Iridium and had no problem so.

Dude, that wasn't directed at you personally. I've seen so much bad info, or info based on "I heard", not on hard facts. The hard fact on plugs is, Bosch is junk. Motorcraft is a good plug for the 6er, but there are better ones. NGK IrridiumX plugs for example. They give superior spark for a lot longer than Motorcraft. They are designed to last 90,000 miles. I guess I've seen so much bad info not based on hard facts, I just kinda snapped finally.

its cool man, I just don't have many posts because I can't contribute most of the time. I know pretty much next to nothing about cars besides the basics of changing Brakes, tires, fluids and oil. Super charging and stuff like that I know zero..... I feel like my car is a new beast when I get my oil changed lol

My car is K&N supercharged? whatever that means (I know the air filter is K&N but.... I dunno. People throw around the word Supercharged and love way to much) and it feels a heck of a lot faster then a normal V6 Mustang. A few of my buddies let me drive theirs and the difference is noticable.

K&N is a brand of air filter, or Cold air intake. Not a supercharger. A cold air intake replaces the stock filter, housing, and intake tube for the air to enter the engine. It will allow more air to enter the engine, and help with a quicker throttle response. It won't add much HP, maybe 3-5, but it will help.
Hey, don't EVEN think it was a stupid question. The only stupid question is the one you DON'T ask.
This is a good place to learn about your car. Here's a suggestion. Do you have a community college near you? If so, see if they have a basic auto maintenance class. Some do, and some even have them at night. That would be a great place to learn something "hands on".
