is a cold air intake worth the time and money you'd have to put into it? Are there any adjustments needed when putting one on?

absolutely, looks better and helps with preformance a bit, get a good MAC from http://autobadges.com/performance/ the cheap ones are ok some times but are not emissions legal (noticed i spelt it right this time harv)
