Engine Noise..............
Well, I talked to the mechanic just now and he said that he doesnt think rod bearings will help fix it at all. he thinks i need to get a new engine. $750 for a 3.8 that has like 12,000 miles on it. is that bad? should i just go ahead and drop the v8 in there?
could be a lifter, cant tell by the "engine noise" description take off the oil filter and drain it, put it back on, and top it off with tranny fluid, then fill up with chevron techron gas or shell V-power, which is essenitally the same thing and then change the oil in a week
