there are 2 kinds, fenderwell and engine bay intakes. most of the cai's u buy will go into ur fender like the factory one does but some are just a straight pipe that has a heat shield for the filter. then there is the fact that some like mac are emisions legal and the ebay ones and all of the cheap ones arent. mine isnt but it doesnt matter in kansas.

i think the alternator on that is specifically and solely used for the turbo unit if i read correctly.

all the ones on ebay do it make it worse. I believe you will be getting more air with your stock setup than you will with one of those. Wont do any thing but make your car harder to get air

why dont you just take your leaf blower and put it under the hood instead of spendin 100 bucks on that ****

if ebay CAI's are that bad i'm gona have to get one from autobadges they seem to be offerin a good one at a nice price!
