i have a 99 v6 auto and i plan on putting a 9 psi procharger on my car i was wondering what gears i should go with and was wondering about how much horse i would have because its says 7 psi is 290 hp and 11 psi is 345 hp?

this is very contraversal to the people who have gears with blowers, some say 4.10s while others say 3.73s, it all depends on how you drive it, if you drive it like a sane person, you should be fine and still get over 20 mpg, if this was my personal call, i would go with 4.10s

I heard from a guy that the 4.10's grind(loud noise) on the highway, give horrible gas mileage, and should only be used at the strip. But the guy could have been full of it.

then that guy didn't have them installed right, always floored his car every chance he got and has never been to the strip.

Yea we recommend taking them to the professionals to get them installed, it make cost a pretty penny but its worth it in the end.

you will not hear whining if installed correctly, you will get more then 20 mpg, and for strip only use go with 4.56s
