is there anything in the doors that i can take out? besides the motor. because they are damn heavy.
how about anything else?

screw weight reduction IMO...wont make much difference.....only thing i do is take out the spare tire and jack at the track

I wouldnt even take out the spare tire and jack. If you want a faster car, get performance mods.

there's no use keeping the spare and jack with you unless you plan on fixing a flat out in the middle of the track. there should be some sound deadening crap all over the car if you wanna waste the time to get rid of probably less than 5 lbs. if you really are set on weight reduction you can take out the back seat. it would take a lot of weight reduction to make a difference considering that 100 lbs generally will only equate to about .1 second faster in the 1/4. if you want some weight reduction that is gonna make a difference, lighten up the driveline with lighter wheels, a flywheel or driveshaft
