Default need advice!!

alright i have a 2000 3.8L v6. it has 80147 miles on it. when i bought it last july it had 72000 miles on it. im just not sure if modding it with such high miles is worth it. i have such good ideas that i want to do to this car. i love my 6, it was my first car that i bought after graduation even though i take alot of **** for it. i guess with the new job that i got i can save up and get a newer mustang in about six months or so. WHAT SHOULD I DO????

thanks for any input.

Sweet, I was wondering the same thing actually. I have 115k on my 97' V6 which has showed me a lot of love and reliablity, so I figured I would give some back. I want to put a CAI on it and I am also considering converting to dual exhaust, but all this is going to have to happen after I deal with my current problem. Since, we are on the subject, do you think this CAI is sufficient http://www.mustangtuning.com/94-98-v...ir-intake.html or should I go with the MAC. What's the difference between the straight shot and the fender mount? Is one better than the other?

Good luck

Nope. Both will work the same. Some say that the straight shot will pull more warm air but the tube isnt long enough for the air to heat up.

+1. And the straight shot is a heck of a lot easier to install.

Depends. That says nothing about being 50 state legal. If your state is **** aboot smog laws, I would be DAMN sure it was legal for your state. The MAC ones are all 50 state legal, as is the K&N FIPK2
