Default CAI install.. help asap!

I'm in the middle of installing it, when I see the instructions are for 94-01, but the box and images show it to be for an 02. It's got the triangle filter or whatever... But it cant fit. where its supposed to go. Any help? do I have to install it from underneath my car?

i got the same cai from him and i was able to install, althought i wasnt able to fit the shield that came with it...it fits you just need to fiddle with it, i installed it all from above, except i put the filter in throught the bottom of the car... bottom line it should work.

This is the one I have, part 3620. I found a hole in the bottom to install like charcoal said. I just wanted to make sure I did infact have the right one.

Now whats easier, running the filter underneath then connecting it to the fender. Or... Installing the fender first, then the filter?

If your having that much trouble just jack the car up and remove the tire to put on the filter

Am I the only one that noticed this, but a 94-98 CAI will not work on a 99-04 set up, the throttle body to upper intake arm are two totally different angles.
