Independent Rear Suspension

I don't know if it will be simple bolt on but it does use the same mounting points as a stock Mustang rear end, it will probably require some work with driveshaft length, as well as some work re-routing brake lines and such it's not an easy project but handled by a pro it should work with a minimum amount of modification.

it was made to fit in existing places on the fox body platform, you can retrofit the cobra irs in any mustang from 79-04, a buddy of mine has on in his 84 svo and the only mods he made were to the exhaust since it is irs sensitive and the brake line

Yea it will fit, but you'll have to get a cobra rear end in your generation.
