Default engine swap

i have a 1996 mustang with the 3.8L engine. There appears to be room for a bigger engine. While ford is a great line, i tend to favor chevy engines better. Does anybody think i could get a 350 corvette engine to fit and hook up somehow in here?

no offense but DUMB IDEA.
wont fit up with the tranny, which means a new tranny and then a new rear end + the installation.
besides, why mix up chevy wit ford?
thats like black and white
day and night
salt and pepper
dry and wet
hot and cold
water and fire
CHEVY AND FORD....
you get the idea.

Look, if you want a bigger engine, why not just go with a 5.4 out of a Cobra, or Ford GT?

Less expensive than installing a GM drivetrain, wiring, computer, motor mounts, k member, tranny mount and cross brace, etc....
