Default mod path?

ok i have a 2000 mustang v6 stock. i was wondering what modification paths do people usually take. can i run a CAI as a first mod? do i need engine managment to start modding? thats really all i can think of for now.

thanks,

yes juss slap a CAI on there and then exhaust[or vise versa]
UDpulleys
4:10 gears
t lok
and you should be set.
be sure that you get the gears and t lok at the same time because they go to the same place....

Well start with performance mods first, as nothing worse than a stock V6 mustang with a body kit that looks fast, but is slower than caramel.
1.) Cold Air Intake
2.) V6 X pipe/h pipe (your choice) and GT cat backs
3.) Under Drive Pulleys
4.) Handheld Tuner
5.) Gears/T-lok Differential for a 7.5" rear end (also will need differential oil and a bearing kit for the install) + price of install
6.) Shift Kit (auto) short shifter/performance clutch (manual)
7.) 9mm Spark Plug Wires/New Spark Plugs (helps with this next mods new energy requirements, oh they look cool to)
8.) Port Matched and Polished Upper Intake to 65 or 70 mm (56mm for 94-98), 65 or 70 mm Throttle Body (56mm for 94-98), Port and Polished Lower Intake, Port and Polished Heads, Head Job (rebuild the heads to make more power), Cam Swap (this is one of the main power makers), 24lb-30lb fuel injectors (will support your new hp rating), Mass Air Meter/Mass Air Flow Sensor set to your fuel injector rating. This mod should be done all at once to save on install and shop charges. Should also consider forged internals.
9.) Ceramic Coated Headers
10.) Supercharger/Turbo Charger

Well yep, I pretty much did as that's about all of the mods you can do to a sixer without just getting plain stupid with the mods. Oh, add in an aluminum driveshaft as the last mod.
