wow i did mine in my own driveway..spent 320 on mine put it own myself inan hour or two.....your lucky u had a lift....dragging my *** under the car was a bitch...auto shops rip u off so bad...

 

You know that guys an idiot as a V6 and a GT are designed exactly the same for exhaust. You should of told him, well if you don't know what you're doing, look at a GT you idiot.

 

Yep my two uncles are huge on cars so they bought a garage together to just work on there cars in and to store some of there show cars and there drag cars and they got two lifts in there so i thru mine up on one and went to work.

I told him that (it was the guy that was working at the counter inside of the store, not in the shop area..it's actually a nice place) and he said "Well, that was the first thing I said to them, but they said the GT's tank was shaped different to accomodate for it" So it was the lazy bum mechanics just not wanting to put it on probably. Ehh...guess i'll just have to find another shop.

 

Yea flash it was brought up in another thread in the sixer section, and no its not a joke hes serious about it.

 

All I can say is he's stupid if he think it's actually helping him. Oh, that mechanic is a freeking idiot, go to another shop, because there is no difference between the V6 and the V8 other than the obvious stuff, like the engine, rear end, and a few extra body features.

 

lmao i dunno, but before you even decide on one exhaust shop id go find out the prices of all the other ones first. That and make sure they know what there doing, obviously this guy dosent.

 

Just to say... No i dont think its helping anything.....when i bought it i thought it was somthing else
