So if you have a V6, flowmasters don't sound as good as a V8..is there anyway to get that sound of the V8 witha V6 with any mods?

 

Nope, nothing besides a V8 swap. No replacement for displacement, even with sound.

 

So what exhaust do you think sounds the best with the V6?

Best you'll get to a V8 will be a high flow intake (like more than a cai), an off road h pipe, and magnaflow or flowmaster 40s that's about as close as you'll get. But realistically, an off road x pipe and flows will work, but I'm a magnaflow man myself. Yea I know, the GT has Flows, but if I could get my mags back off my old 98 sixer, I would so do it.

 

+1 about 03yellowpony's clip. I can honestly say that is the best sounding 6 I've ever herd.

MAC true fit catback sounds awesome!!! i have one on my sixer and it sounds great!!! everyones loved it so far i havent gotten any negatice feedback.
