ive heard alot of different things about not feeling any power when people put a new throttle body and CAI and underdrive pulley, Those are the first things im thinking about putting on my stang but if anyone has any other ideas that will get me more power for around the same price or think that my money is gonna be put to good use by adding these please tell me.
First off, dont get a throttle body. Its too expensive for the power you get. Go with CAI and U/D pulleys first. If you want something that really wakes up your car, get gears and a T-Lok.
OK, I have to add this. I'm coming from background in Japanese cars, so I need to learn almost everything brand new. I need to know how much V6's differ from 4bangers, and a whole lot of stuff. What do the gears do, and what is the difference between them? For example, I've seen 4.10 gears and 3.73 gears...What does all of that mean??
gears wont add any power to your car, the 4.10 gear means that gear goes around 4.1 times everytime your actual tire goes around once, so with a 3.73 gear your car will accelerate faster than a 4.10 gear and alot faster than ur stock gear. ive never really worked on or driven a 4 banger so i dont really kno the difference
wrong your close but wrong im a little tripped out right now so im gonna try and type this. 4.10 first of all will make you accelerate faster and second 3.73 stands for 3.73 rotations of the driveshaft for the tire to make a complete revolution.
Please dont post info unless your 100 sure man, i dont want anyone pissed cause they where misinformed. But you also are right gears dont add hp.
EDIT: sorry maybe i should explain why 4.10's are "quicker" 4.10's will get you into your powerband quicker therfor getting the power to the pavement quicker then the 3.73's...that make any sense man?!?!

its all good man im just putting the correct info out there. When i was 13 or 14 and first learned about gears when my uncles and i were putting them on the 71 plymouth roadrunner i used to think the same thing as you until they explained it all to me.
