Let the arguement begin...but anyway, you can use either one. I think Nanaki actually has 4.10s on his blown GT.

Edit: He has 3.73s. Maybe I read something about him wishin he went with 4.10s. I dont remember what I was lookin at

I don't think it would matter...But I do remember reading that the more power you have, the higher gears you should get. So if you get it blown, I would think that you would wanna go with the 4.10s.

Most people usually say that if you have boost go witht the 3.73s. I'm not saying which one to go with, cuz I dont know which ones would work best, I'm just sharing the info that I've found.

The argument: 4.10 are too much gear for a s/c vehicle because they have so much power.
Other argument: 4.10 aren't too much gear and you will still want more if you go with 3.73

Thing is is that there really aren't too many people with s/c that have experimented with both gears...best thing you could do is pm both cobra232 and nanaki and see what they both tell you (amont others that have s/c's).

if you plan on getting a centrifugal style SC, id say go with the 4.10s. i went with 3.73s and will be going to 4.10s eventually when eveything else is done. i have a vortech on my car. another guy that used to post here (now banned), MD, he had a GT with a vortech and swapped his 3.73s to 4.10s and then was saying he wanted to go with 4.30s.

but yeah.. my opinion is no less than 4.10s, unless you plan on getting a roots/twin screw blower on your car.
