Only thing is that the K&N isn't a true cai, its a ram air intake as it sits inside the engine bay, my vote is for the MAC or BBK.
Now that's total
K&N includes a heat shield, and draws air in from the same hole the MAC does. PLUS, it's 10x easier to install.

EDIT~
Altho, MAC does make a straight shot, and AUTOBADGES carries it.

No disrespect Harv as you're my buddy, but a cai draws in cold air from inside the fenderwell, older style ram air (aka early cold air intakes) used heat shields and set inside the engine bay and drew the excess cool air from the fenderwell hole. Only thing, is that even though there is a heat sheild, the air inside the fendwell itself is still gonna be cooler than the air under the hood. Granted they both make the same hp, I'm just prone, like many, to the fenderwell mounted unit. Although you're 100% right about the ram airs being easy to install.

Where do you come up with this crap? So, the MAC straight shot isn't a CAI either? BS..I give up.

but it IS hotter than the air coming up and in through the fenders.....colder air is always better..but then air traveling through a shorter distance is always better too..so they both have pros and cons.

Point being..we carry BOTH lol
