I just got my sct tuner today and I want to know what things I should change.
I have a 96 auto.
Here Are the options I am having trouble deciding with:

1.spark at 0-2000 RPM's
2.spark at 2000-4000 RPM's
3.spark at 4000-8000 RPM's
4.Wide open throttle Air/fuel (i have been told not to toach this)
5.Low speed fan (temp it will engage)
6.High speed fan (temp it will engage)
7.Wide open throttle shift for each gear (+ or - mph)
8.Shift pressure (for each gear change)


and I am getting my gears installed next week but I cant find the option to adjust for bigger gears can someone tell me whats going on?

You know now that I think of it I didn't see any option for gear adjustments...been a while, though, that I really looked at it. Where did you get your tuner and did you put on the tune it came with yet?

 

I got it from RPMoutlet and it said I would be able to adjust for gears.

for your year, yes why did you get it? what are your mods?

 

The main reason I bought it was for my gears I am getting installed next week, wed. and on rpmoutlets website it says that you can adjust the gear ratio for my year. I have asp underdrive pully, cold air intake, flowmaster exhaust and that is it untill next week.

 

For 94-98 all you need is a speedo gear....our models are not as computer based as the 99+ are. I have a fully rebuilt engine, supercharged, full exhaust, forged internals, gears, brakes, etc and have NEVER used one of these tuners bc you dont need it..its a waste of money really. When you do lots of mods you get a chip and custom tune it to what your car needs. What do you mean adjust gear ratio? Whatever the hell you put..be it 3.73s..thats all you get, nothing more or less no matter what you do to the computer.
