sup, got a free 1996 v6 mustang from my bro, only down fall is that it has about 200,000 miles on it but it got a brand new transmision
i was wondring if i should do some preformance stuff to it or just save for a new engine with lower miles maybe

 

hows the body and interior, swap in the V8

 

interior was dirty as hell but aftere 2 hours and some detailing its smokin[8D]
also has a brand new transmision
and some loud *** flowmasters

downfalls of the car is its at 200,000 miles
so if i was to do some preformance **** to it it might blow up lol

 

My 'stang has 160,000 miles on it and it showing no signs of giving up. It's also a '96 3.8 ...If you have another car to drive, and he just gave it to you to get rid of it..i'd turn it in to a project. I'd get a 4.2 and supercharge it or something similar. Just have fun with it.

you have a 200,000 mile 3.8 and you're worried about rims? you could get a complete supercoupe motor for that much

Thats what I was thinkin. Supercoupe or 4.2 stroker and that would be a fun project

 

ill go by what yall recomend, but im a lil noobish tho

 

drop in a GM supercharged 3800...that'd be loads of fun
