Default After the basic mods, what's next?

After you basic mods (UDs, CAI, gears/tlok, tune, TD exhaust), what's next in line that offers the best bang for your $$? I see other mods like camshafts, high flow cats, headers, etc. I have a general idea of what they are, but nothing more. I know I'm getting way ahead of myself here, but it's fun to dream.

Whats the issue with high flow cats... I hear all different things. That it's illegal to replace them before so many miles? They make your car sound a little better?

Ive never heard its illegel to replace before so many miles. Its illegel to go catless in some states. All high flow cats do is replace the 4 stock cats with 2 less restrictive ones. Maybe a little better sound and like 1 or 2 hp

So is it worth it? The only HFC's I can find are Magnaflows. Some other questions on my mind... For daily driving with the basic mods listed, and new rims/tires in the spring, would the OE shocks and struts be adequate? And would it be worth it to upgrade some generic brake pads to Hawks?

I know a tlok isn't performance. But if I just listed gears, someone wouldve said "you shoud get a tlok if you get gears".
