Default 1990 rear end

Hey will a 1990 mustang gt rear end fit onto a 1999 v6 mustang. Theres a guy selling one for $225.

it should but why would you want to swap in a GT rear end, the 7.5 is more then capable of 300+hp

a 90 Fox rear is much narrower than your car and would need wheel spacers to set the wheels out correctly. Wheel spacers are at least $150 for good ones

the 7.5 is fine. do not use a Ford T-lok as it will not hold up to anything more than stock power and even then they are known to break

put a Detroit truetrac or Auburn proseries Limited slip differential in and your rear will handle alot of power. you can always add a Girdle too

also get a stud kit part# TA 1816B

all of the above parts will hold any power you throw at it and will be far more stronger than a stock 8.8

yeah that sounds like a better route to take. Also i heard the the 7.5 axles are the same as the stock 8.8 axles, is this true?
