I have a 2000 v6 5speed currently stock and my brother has a stock v6 auto 2000 monte carlo. he talks tons of trash how is car is faster then mine but i personally dont think so. eventually i will race him but do you guys think his car is faster or is it proven? just wondering so i know what to expect.

why dont you just look up the 2000 v6 ss monte carlo?

While the base Monte Carlo LS comes with a 3.4-liter 180-hp V-6, SS models get a 3.8-liter V-6 with 200 horsepower.

190hp Mustang...should be close. Not sure if weight plays a factor but he for sure isn't 'that much faster"

 

He didn't say SS, but if it is then it'll be close. I edged out a 2000 Auto SS, and I have an 02 Auto.

Either way you SHOULD win.
