Planned Mods for my '06
I recently inherited a 2006 automatic sixer from an older sibling with 868 miles on it. This car is completely stock at the moment. I was hopinh for a little guidance to get the best bang for my buck. I am also curious as to which upgrades will void my warrenty other than the required computer flash for a CAI.
First off, I was going to start with a Limited slip differential and maybe some 4.13 rear gear. From what I hear, these give you a much faster throttle response which is what I really want on my car. The second upgrade that I would like to add would be a set of underdrive pulleys; I don't really listen to the stereo too loud or blast the AC, so why not free up a few horses there. Then I would plan to add some JBA power cables and a throttle body spacer. After I finish these I would probably go for a complete exhaust system replacement. Starting with some long tube headers and ending with some Cat back exhaust on a take off GT bumper. After these upgrades, I don't really know which way to go, I could either go the route of a S/C or Turbo, or the more conservative CAI and stroker kit. The only upgrade really off limits right now is Nitrous. I am also open to other suggested upgrade paths if mine is completely the wrong way to go.

Ok cool, any chance that I can get m post moved to there? I don't want to spam the forums with my first couple of posts lol. One thing I forgot to ask is what an accurate HP estimation for this setup would be.

EDIT~
You could do what I'm gonna do when I get my 07...send yours on over to Shelby in Vegas and have them do a CS6 conversion...then you would eat GT's for breakfast.

Whats the down payment on the CS6 conversion? 7000? and would this void the warranty? I would have to agree though, the cs6 woufd eat GTs for breakfast. The body work looks nice, but I'm not sure I could afford it though, having a very stock-looking cs6 would be kinda cool though.

You could PM Jugador or Hotrods_n_Booze and ask them, but it would be easier to just copy and paste into a new thread there. Nobody's gonna complain about it.
