First Modification
I've got a 1998 V6, 5 speed. The engine has 100k and is completely stock. I want to do some modifications to increase the HP. What would you recommend that I do first? What is the simplest thing to do to increase my HP? Any help would be appricated.
Well I'll start off very simple and you can work form there. Click on my sig and get a MAC cai from autobadges.com, it won't add very much hp, but is a highly essential link for a high powered N/A engine. After that I would recommend true duals to complement the cai. After that get a set of 3.73 gears and a T-lok along, then get a hand held tuner.

What type of mechanic work is required for the installation of a pulley ( can you do it at home, are there instuctions on how to install?) and how does the Tuner work, does it have easy to use options or do you need a manual? I have an Auto trans, so im doubt i need the gears, but are there anyother "starter" mods? ive already got a BBK Intake, and im working on Duals.
No no no no no..........not gears for the tranny, gears for the differential. The u/d pulleys are very easy to install on a sixer, if you buy them from autobadges you'll get a set of instrutions on how to install the pulleys, very easy 45 minute job. The tuner will come with a few tunes stock, but you can custom tune the car, if you get one, PM me, I know exactly how to sqeeze every last ounce out of that 98 without damaging the car.
