Ok, so i thought id put in another try at this:

Pypes 1996-2004 V6 MUSTANG 2½ X-PIPE KIT (Catted) $199.95

and that leaves me with about enough money for a $300 catback system.
Stop trying to stretch your budget. Youre making it hard on yourself to get a dual exhaust man.

Ok, so if i get that X pipe

Pypes 1996-2004 V6 MUSTANG 2½ X-PIPE KIT (Catted) $199.95

and a 1999-04 Mustang GT 4.6L, 2-1/2' System, Dual-Out Rear-Exit with 3' Stainless Tips, Super 40 Series Mufflers $359.99

I figure that would give me the sound and performance im looking for while only going over my spending limit by 100 at most.

OK too lazy to read all that but a 99-04 system will not work on a 98, you need to get a 94-97 set up and let the shop install it because the 98 has a couple of extra things that mount in the back, and because that is a universal x pipe that I had piced out you should really let that be installed too unless you can find another one. Install will only run about $100 so pay to get it done.

Well, i guess in that case, i dont want to spend my money chasing down a cheap deal, after all this hard work im gonna take all the info you guys game me, and buy a flowmaster system, but ill come back around christmas with that, ill see how much i have saved up now. I only do this because exhaust is going to take a big more time than i expected, especially if i want to do it right. I will keep all of your advice close at hand, along with your links. Thanks again to all of you for your help

If your talking about X/H Pipes then its because without them the system wouldnt sound as good as it possibly could.
