Default Need Help

Hey All,
I am really new to all this but a buddy of mine told me that I could make my 2004 v6 a dual exhaust and it would make it sound and performan a hole lot better. The only problem is that he doesn't know anything about mustang. I was woundering if you guys could tell me everything I need to buy to make my mustang dual exhaust if possible where online I could get it from being that right now I am station overseas.
Thank you

I have a MagnaFlow dual exhaust on my Stang, but it runs from the factory Y pipe so technically it is not a "true" dual exhuast. To get "true" dual exahaust you have to switch your Y pipe to either a H pipe or a X pipe (I'm not sure if they even make X pipes for the V6 though). If you plan to change your Y pipe you are also going to want to get your self a nice pair of headers to go along with them.

This is the information for the place I ordered my exhuast from:

No problem, if you need anything else just PM me, I may not know as much as some of the people here, but I can probably point you in the right direction.

on my old v6 I use to have I purchased the entire dual exhaust system on ebay for about $150, after I got it I took it to my local welder and he did the job in less than an hour - I did feel the difference, but I loved it even more once I changed the stock mufflers it came with for flowmasters, that v6 sounded load!!! - everyone though it was a GT, the only thing missing to really look like a GT from the outside was the rear bumper.

You actually don't need an X or H pipe. For true duals just cut the Y off after the cats and run pipes straight back. Throw on some mufflers and tips and that's it.
