Hey guys if i replace my steering wheel with this..http://www.fordracingparts.com/image...ull/M3601B.jpg would i have to replace the airbag or do nething special?

You would probably have to repack the airbag, which costs anywhere from $200-$500.

Dude, all you have to do is put your horn onto the new steering wheel and you're good to go. It has the airbag incorporated into it. As far as color goes, Ford makes factory matching interior paint that's in a spray can. Just paint the horn button the same color as the rest of the wheel before you put it on. Nothing to it. Don't buy an airbag. It's a huge waste of money.

 

It it really illegal to remove the airbag? I.e. replacing the wheel with one that has no airbag

 

Disconnect airbag, take it out, put in new wheel, reconnect

 

airbag... huge waste of money??? until you die of brain damage from slamming your head into the dash.
