Default headers and stuff

Im thinink abotu how i wanna do this exhaust. I really want headers but dont know which ones and how hard it is to put them in...I also want to have dual super 40 series flowmasters...I live in nj and we do have a smog check so i need cats...i have no idea how to set this up and what will bolt to what...i heard X pipes are great but how could i do it without losing the cats

Not hard to install them, but you've got to have a lift or jacks that can get car off the ground high enough.

Headers are a waste for your cars. just get a high flow catted X-Pipe, and a cat-back flowmaster http://www.rpmoutlet.com/musv6ngauge.htm

yea i heard they only do like 5 more hp...for 300 bucks i dont think 5 hp is worth it and then i cant do anything else without spendin alot. will that catted X pipe bolt up to the stock headers. And can i do any cat back for GTs as well wit that X pipe

that x-pipe will hook up to your stock headers. and unless you are pulling 300 hp the stock headers are fine. just get a take-off GT exhaust for that x-pipe then upgrade the catback later.

it will. but the pypes violater setup sounds better and is cheaper. and everybody and their brother has slowmaster

you need the GT rear bumper with the exhaust cutouts cause the exhaust is setup for a gt. it will work, but i am a beleiver in using all the stuff from one company

yea i planned on buyin a body kit too liek saleen or something so the exhaust cutouts will...i dont know how pypes sounds compared to flowmaster...my friend just got a dual flowmaster on his f250 and it sounds amazxing
