i read on here yesterday that welding 3.5inch tailpipes on my car would not make it sound different. you were wrong. had it done today, not from the mufflers back, just the tips. sounds 100 times better, way louder & burbles so much more. very impresed. just wanted to clear that point up for others who were wondering.

who the hell said they wouldn't sound different?

 

For some reason all can think of with that coment about tips sounding different is:

The eppisode of The Simpsons where Homer gets a gun and he's showing off all the attachments he has bought

Homer: "Silencer, Loudner, this one is for shooting down police helicopters"

 

i actually said that in my head in a homer voice

 

I swear I said it would help some...

 

Me too, In fact it really made me want to watch that one again.
