Default I got $$$

Lol yes in the last week ive been working two jobs. construction and i work at a movie rental store... im 17 lol. Im gonna have around $600+ cnd by next saturday when i get my paycheck. Im getting the ebay CAI with the K&N air filter. With my remaining money i want to get some audio stuff a subwoofer package that comes ready with wiring in a box and with an amp is what i want... i know MTX and Kenwood both have these they are 10 inchers... i just wanna get something that packs good bass that isnt very complicated and relatively easy to install... any reccomendations??? I plan on getting UD pulleys soon... i hope they dont affect my charge as to not be able to use the audio components im getting. As well i want to do some weight reduction... Just taking things out not buying lighter parts like fiberglass or something... things liek taking out rear seats etc. what can i do that isnt ridiculous? Yes i know toooo many questions but i desperately need answers lol. Thanx guys...

Do U/D pullies and **** a system, your looking to lighten the car up yet your dropping a system in. I bought a system and now regret it, it gets annoying quick and the money is better spent elsewhere. Id go exhaust and U/d pullies, but its your call man.

What purpose does making your car lighter serve? I wouldnt get an EBAY intake... they usually suck... even if u get a K&N filter.. like many have said before, you get for what you pay for. Dont cut corners or try to over stretch your buget, you want to make your money work for you, start at the bottom and work up, if that means getting a top end CAI and then having to save again for the next mod then so be it, other wise you will look like some bolt on wonder, like all those cool guys who drive the ricers with huge mufflers.

it makes a better power/weight ratio.

example. if you have a 300 hp car that weighs 3000 lbs you have a 10: power/weight ratio. if you lighten it by 300 lbs you now have a 9:1 power/weight ratio. every little bit helps

It slows everything down.... can have heat problems and lighting problems... for a couple hp it aint worth it in my very most humble opinion....
