Yea it probably will work as it's the same basis that handheld tuners use to increase hp, but remember, higher spark may mean having to use highe octance, or having to get your air to fuel mixture reset.

wrong. more intense spark will not affect detonation characteristics. a hotter spark plug doesn't produce a hotter spark. the Ceramic insulator is what determines heat of a plug.

the more air between the ceramic insulator and plug body the hotter the plug. colder plugs have much less air gap, thus retain less heat. the heat retained by the plug when running too hot of a plug ignites the fuel before timed stark event. this is detonation and is bad because the pistion is still on the way up and the detonation wants to force the piston back down the opposite direction of the engine rotation. this is why you get bent rods, hammered rod bearings and cracked pistons from detonation

Well advancing the spark on a tuner netted me an extra 5 hp when I was running 120 all day before we uploaded the diablo tune that I had set to my old sixer.

wow..those are 10mm wires with glass braded shielding!?! Sweet! never have to worry about voltage loss from heat soak.
