Got my first ticket TODAY, just after reading this at the age of 25 for....... Being too close to the white line(yeah im a rebel) and he THINKS he heard my tires squeeling. Ive only been pulled over like 2x and got my only ticket right after reading it(less then 5), so thanks alot. BTW if you have over 3 tickets and still under 18, You shouldnt be on MUSTANGForums, If you have been in 2+ crashes that where your fault under the age of 25 do us al a favor and retire that liscence.

One wreck that wasn't my fault.. $10,000 worth of damage on the stang... and the other insurance company wouldn't get me a new one .

One speeding ticket... at night when I was running late.. I hadn't driven for like 2 weeks.. and the first night home I get pulled.. Sucked. 63 in a 45.. even though the speed limit on that road should be 55 ...

 

Well, I'm clean. Never been pulled over, even. I have been kicked out of an empty park one night with my girlfriend. Damn you, bright yellow car. In my old Jimmy the cops never saw us, lol. Luckily we weren't too far when the cop pulled in.

But I have a funny story about driving records.

I was at orientation for college. I'm going to school for automotive technology, which is just a fancy way of saying mechanic. The guy was talking about having to have a valid driver's liscense to go to the school and work at any type of garage or dealership, since you have to move cars around. He also said, "Try to keep your driving record as clean as possible. Dealerships and other places will look into that stuff and use it as a factor when deciding whether or not to hire you. A moving violation isn't too bad, but try to avoid a lot of DUI's." Then this one kid in the back raises his hand and goes, "How many is a lot?" The whole room laughed.

OK, end of story that seemed better when I started telling it.

Oh, and as far as getting speeding tickets in Mustangs, it doesn't matter what you drive. People who drive fast will drive fast in any car. You can get a speeding ticket in a Geo Metro. Cops just notice Mustangs more cause they're supposed to be fast.

 

i got 2 tickets in one stop...1 for speeding, which was my fault..70mph in a 45 zone...and the cop also had me roll up my windows and wrote up a ticket for my drivers and front passeger windows being to dark.tinted....I had to go 2 court...the cop was cool 2 me when i got pulled over...i was 2 because i knew i did something stupid and he kind of help me in court by saying "The young man was very respectable and polite"...but yet i still got $179 FINE, 6 months supervision, 4 hours of driving school, and i had to get my Tints removed, which really sucked because, he used a flashlight to check them, while it was 10pm at night...which make no sense.....DAm i miss having my TINTS...

pulled over once, 1 DUI

 

I got pulled over when I was around 17 for creeping through a stop sign, but got it discarded because i participated in this Step4 program that allows you to go to a building next to our po station and watch a video on speeding and factors causing accidents. It was a good way to avoid paying the $110 fine, I just had it reduced though to $60 payment to police or city and no record of this occurance.
And you're only supposed to be able to do this once a year. (now the program has been abolished)

Again when I was coming home from college on some boondock road, police had radar up and walked out in front of me and pulled me over. I got a ticket for 88 km/hr in a 60. Cop gave me another Step4 program date (not knowing i had already been, or did he...?,lol) so I smiled and left. Did that **** again and it was the last time doing Step4 before they chucked it.

Next I was going snowboarding with a friend pretty far away in my little pos nissan and I knew my tires were bad and I was taking it very slow. I was coming down an offramp from one highway to another (and this ramp completely descends and circles) and it was snowroad in some spots and others it was like rain on the road. Anyways, i'm coming down and hit a patch of snow and start to slide bad (no ABS) and we started going off the ramp but stomped instantly before this giant hill which we would have rolled down several times (at least 5) and there were no guard rails or nothing either which sucked. Anyways the cop finally came (O.P.P which is like state troopers, they do no real police work so when they get a chance to do something they do it.....fucing ******) and he asked me what I thought caused me to go off road. I explained to him the weather and conditions and also said my tires didnt have the best tread. He looks at them, takes out a pen, and measures saying its definitely bald and gave me a $120 fine on top of me paying the tow truck driver $150 on the spot or they take my car. The cop knew i had to pay the driver so why he would give me a ****ing fine? *******.
We ended up turning back and going home.

I'm driving around my city one day after washing and cleaning my car, i'm driving down a road doing about 70km/hr in a 50. What do i see? Two po walk out in front of me and pull me over. Cop asks me if i have any drugs in my vehicle. I knew it smelled so bad like bud, so i said yea a little, and he says "I know because i can smell it".
Anyways, he ends up finding tons of paraphenalia all over my ride, as well as a half drinkin bottle of whisky in my backseat in a liquor store bag which my buddy left in my ride the night before. He asks me if im in school and i was actually going for police foundations at the time and he kind of smirked and then proceeded to lecture me about how ill never be hired if caught doing this **** and so on and so fourth. He was cool though, just took about 2 grams and let me go. Didnt even take my bottle of booze or my paraphenalia or my parachute. BTW, he didnt know what one was and i explained it to him and he kinda laughed.

I'm downtown of my city pull up next to a cop in mid day. I have my subs and speakers thumpin out my Big L, and we eventually take off from the light. Nothing quick just normal. Well I kept going and he stayed far behind but behind. A city bus pulled in front of me and i changed lanes doing about 5km/hr over and continue to drive for about 5 minutes. Finally the po pulls me over and busts me for doing 55km/hr in a 50. He also smelled weed once again and took my 9 grams. It was a fat sack and i always smoke my little nugs first and big ones last and he took all my big ones....ah well....

and never have i been pulled since. I always keep cologne in my car for after i burn though..

 

...and i forgot one.

One time not long ago in my stang two dudes pull up to me in a riced out mid 90's civic. The passenger is like lets go so i quicly look back to check for fuzz before dropping the hammer. I burned out my nice one wheel peel and took off. Next thing i know i have popo lights flashing in my rearview im like ya right. So i pull over and those ricers drive by me reaaaal slow pointing and laughing (probably something i would have done to them too)

Anyways cop is cool, asks me what i was doing back there. I was like, "honoustly man i just got burned. Those dudes came up wanting to do a quick race and i fell for it" he asked if i had a record and i told him basically my record except for the snowboarding/bald tires incident, he comes back and asks me about that bald tires fine. I told him about it and hes like "those o.p.p can be real dicks" and told me to take it easy and i went home.
