Default rear blackout panel

Has anyone heard of the black vinyl u can buy to black out ur rear trunk lid instead of the honeycomb panel. Do u know anyone who has bought on and installed it. just wondering ur thoughts and how it might look and how much of a pain it would be to install.

it would probably be really easy to install as long as you took your time. i have never seen it but im sure its out there. you could get one of the guys in the chop shop to do a chop of it for you. post a pic of the chop after.

yea except the "V6 High Output" emblem is completely GAY....just go to a local vinyl sign shop...i was actually going to do the same thing and it would cost like 20-30 bucks....go to one of those shops that does the vinyl wraps for those demo cars

NO don't do it!!....lol.....idk bout you guys....i know the hood and side scoops have it but i hate the honeycomb trim (which is why i spent money to get the grill delete) so i wouldnt ADD more honeycomb....i plan to remove and fill in the holes under my sidescoops and get a new hood so that there is NO MORE honeycomb trim....just do the vinyl...its easier and looks better and you don't get the stupid V6 High Output emblem...OR you could tape off the trunklid and have it painted or paint it yourself....more permanent but i'd like to see what the 99 35th Edition cars look like under that trim after 7 years!....faded paint or worse!..............
