Default Another U/D Pulley Question

I really want to get one, but I hear so much crap about how "If you have a sterio, your gunna kill the battery" I'm about to put my 2 10" Subs in the back, and my aftermarket 6x9s as well. Nothing huge, just a 600watt amp for the subs and te 6x9s off the deck. Also, in the winter I like my heater on high, and in the summer I have the A/C on quite abit.

whats the truth here, is it really that bad? Should I even consider it? I know the guys in the 5.0 section think they are garbage (so I'll refrain from putting one on my future 90+ GT), but what about for my 6er, I know they are recommended, but I hear so many opinions on the matter, I would like a decisive answer. I don't want to do ANYTHING that will hurt my cars durrabilty.

And Erick your opinion and knowledge is requested even though your gunna be biased (it's your job, I totally understand) your answers are still honest. And yes, if I decide to get it, it's coming from you anyways.

SO to break it down (my book writing habit) I want to know the following;

1) Is an U/D pulley worth it for a 95 6er?
2) Does the pulley affect the charge of my battery? If so how bad?
3) With a 600 watt amp, and 2 10" subs, is a pulley advised?
4) (for quriosity sake) Even on a 5.0L GT, is the pulley a good idea/useful?

Thanks for the help guys, it's why I am here after all.

Default RE: Another U/D Pulley Question

1) yes, very worth it!

2) If it does it is extreemly minimal. I have never noticed any power drop.

3) Will be fine.

4)I have 2 friends with 95 5.0L and they both have a pulley
