Default Steering Wheel

I was thinking of replacing my Mustang Steering Wheel with like a Sparco one because its amazingly comfortable and it looks awsome. Everything is great plus i can get the quick release hub so i can even hide the steearing wheel and not use a clubb (however its spelled). But there is no Air Bag on it which is really bad. I'v been in an accident before as a passanger and air bags most time dont even go off, so i was thinking screw it ill just get it since they dont go off anyway. But god forbid a sireos accident occurs and im the driver with no air bag, im screwd right ? so what are your thoughts on this guys. . . please let me know

and thanks for reading this long paragraph lol

buckle up then! if its not already a law in your state. I think you could spend your money on somthing more practicle...whats wrong with the one u have now? just get a cover to put over the stock one. It does look nice though!

I personally like the stock one better. That one looks like it was ripped off an arcade racing game. And the stock one's safer. You shouldn't do appearance mods that will compromise your safety. Cause it definately wouldn't look cool with bloodstains all over it. And then you wouldn't be driving it, anyway.

You should go for it...stock steering wheels suck, theyre too big and look like they should be used on sail boats. On the other hand, it doesnt have an air bag, so, thats cool, if you crash you wont die a slow and agonizing death...it will be more instantaneous

If youre going to get an aftermarket steering wheel, then spend some money and get one with an airbag. I dont know what kind of car you were in that the bag didnt go off in your accident, but it sounds like a malfunction. When you catch yourself looking at the radio or something doing 70mph and you hit a semi or a guardrail, your friends and family are going to wish you had an airbag...

you could try to find a cobra steering wheel. they have the texture on the sides and look a little better. at least you would still have an airbag
