Default Flowmaster Question

Eh Guys........I have an (83' Stang GL 3.8L) that I'm fixing up. I'm taking off the old stock muffler and want to know if I can hook up a (Flowmaster 40 series). If so, will this increase the horse power, MPH and more important, will it give it a beefy sound? Thanks

you can hook up a flowmaster to anything. it will be a little louder, hp gains will be minimal.

Heya HoobaStang, theirs not much you can do to hype up an 83 stang, there's a few things to increase hp thought its a bunch $$$$ though, Ive 83 stang supercharged ported and polish intake heads medium RV cam,Posi 3.73 rear end, with 40's flowmasters, I only noticed more hp when I added the supercharger.

Good luck
